Key things that you need to remember for your Electricians' Invoices

At the best of times remembering key details that need to go on your electricians' invoices is hard. With VAT, invoice numbers, and a whole list of dos and don'ts, invoicing takes up time, and it takes you away from the real work that needs doing. Plus, who can really say that they enjoy doing paperwork?
So here are our 4 key points that you need to remember when putting together your invoices!
1. You MUST include a unique invoice number for every single invoice. This is a requirement for when you do a self assessment tax return.
2. The name and address of the person you’re invoicing (should seem obvious, but even the most experienced can forget!).
3. A list of all the products provided – for both the customer’s and HMRC’s sake.
4. If you’re VAT registered you MUST include your VAT number.
