ESC offering free Earthing and Bonding leaflets to electricians

Help your customers to understand the importance of earthing and bonding with our free information.

The Electrical Safety Council (ESC) has developed a range of leaflets providing impartial electrical safety advice to homeowners, tenants and landlords.

The ESC’s ‘Why do earthing & bonding need to be checked?’ leaflet is available free to contractors. It provides a clear and impartial explanation to customers as to why additional work may be needed to ensure the safety of their family and home – even if the original job was simply to add another socket.

The leaflet explains to householders, why, if they are having an alteration or addition made to their electrical installation, their electrician must check the adequacy of the existing earthing and bonding arrangements and, if necessary, bring them up to standard as an essential part of their work.

Up to a 100 copies of the leaflet can be provided free to electricians and other interested parties, for distribution to customers and clients. If you would like to get your free copies, please email leaflets@esc.org.uk
