The NAPIT Group has announced that it is freezing all its Registration, Certification, Inspection and Training fees for yet another year.
The Part P registration joining fee has been frozen for over five years now; still being the same since its launch in 2005.
Effectively, this has resulted in over a 14% reduction in cost of Building Regulations compliance using the Self Certification route via NAPIT when official RPI inflation figures are taken into account.
When asked to comment on their decision, NAPITs Chief Operation Officer, Martin Bruno said "As we continue to grow, the economies of scale we enjoy have allowed NAPIT to maintain the registration fee.”
He went on to say that “This also shows how important it is to have competition and choice for Electrical Contractors, with the NAPIT stance of controlling costs now being copied by other organisations in the industry, this reduction in real costs is especially important in the current economic climate”
