We are delighted to announce that we will be working alongside the EEIBA this year as part of our charitable commitment programme.
What is a charitable commitment programme?
Each year, My Local Electrician will donate 10% of advertising capacity to a charity or good cause that works for the benefit of the electrical industry.
This is the first year that we have ran our charitable commitment programme and we look forward to an exciting year ahead working alongside the EEIBA.
Why the EEIBA?
The EEIBA is the only charity to help those in hardship or distress who work, or have worked in the electrical and electronics industry. The charity offers help and assistance to all age groups, from the youngest child to the oldest pensioner, anywhere in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. Our support is also extended to dependants.
Over the last 100 years, the charity has assisted people from all backgrounds and age groups from all over the United Kingdom.
The EEIBA provides support in a number of ways, examples of which include:
Helping to source benefits or allowances.
Collaborating with or seeking funding from other charities and benefit networks.
Assisting individuals and families to overcome the impact of living on low incomes and savings.
Providing equipment, facilities and financial assistance to ease the impact of living with a disability.
