If you have an old Megger product that you’re still using or an interesting or unusual story about a Megger product, you now have a chance to win a brand new Megger MIT420 CAT IV industrial insulation and continuity tester worth nearly £500. Megger is offering one new tester for the oldest instrument still in use, and another for the most interesting story.
The MIT420 is a high-specification hand-held instrument that tests insulation at voltages from 50 V to 1,000 V, and measures continuity with test currents of 20 mA and 200 mA. It has facilities for carrying out timed insulation resistance, polarisation index (PI) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) tests, and it has internal storage for more than 1,000 test results. As well as its CAT IV 600 V safety rating, it incorporates a wide range of safety features, including test inhibit if connection is made to a live circuit.
To be in with a chance of winning with an old Megger product, all you have to do is send a photograph of you using the product, along with brief details of when you acquired it and how you currently use it, to megger.com/win_a_MIT_420. To win with a story, simply send your story to the same email address – a photograph is not essential, but it if you have one that’s relevant to your story, please submit it with your entry.
Photographs should be sharp, clear and of high resolution, but should not exceed 8 MB file size. Entries in both categories must be received by midnight on 30th November 2013, and the winners will be selected by Megger’s UK sales manager, whose decision is final. The winners will be notified by 31st December 2013.
All entries must relate to products manufactured or supplied by Megger or by companies like AVO that are now part of the Megger organisation. In case of doubt, the eligibility of a particular product can be checked by sending details to uksales@megger.com.
