Chaucer has teamed up with Brother P-touch to offer electricians a free hand-held labelling device when they take out employers’ public and products liability insurance. The initiative launches this month and will enable electricians and other selected tradespeople to get their hands on a complimentary electronic labeller (worth £39.99 excluding VAT), after purchasing or renewing their employers’ public and product liability insurance policy.
Qualifying tradespeople will be offered a free P-touch E100, which is portable, lightweight and ideal for people on-the-go. It can produce heat, chemical and water resistant adhesive labels for wires and equipment, in a variety of colours, widths and lengths.
Mike Kelly, Head of Category Identification at Brother UK, comments: “Just as having the right insurance protection is vital for tradespeople, a professional labelling device like P-touch is often an indispensable addition to an electrician’s toolbox.”
Four of Chaucer’s largest brokers are getting involved in the campaign. including Blackfriars Insurance Brokers Ltd, CETA Insurance Ltd and F Wilson (Insurance Brokers) Ltd T/A Quoteline Direct.
Chaucer’s Stuart Dickinson, Divisional Head – UK Commercial, said: “P-touch is a useful gadget used by many people in the trade, so this joint initiative is a great way to reward our loyal customer base.”
The initiative follows P-touch’s successful partnership with Tradeskills4U, targeting people embarking on electrical and renewable energy training, which finishes at the end of July.
