We are extremely proud to announce the sponsors of the first On-line Electrician on the Year awards Megger, Super Rod and Trade Skills 4 U. All three sponsors need little introduction as they already play a huge part in the Electrical industry, but now they also are playing a big part for the electrical industry online, helping to create, encourage, grow and supply helpful information and advice to the online communities for their specific industry sectors.
My Local Electrician is also pleased to be supported by Sparks Magazine who are busy spreading the word about the awards. Celia Matthews, who is the publisher of Sparks Magazine, the essential guide for apprentice electricians, already plays an enormous part in the future of the electrical industry. Celia says "We are delighted to be supporting the first ever On-line Electrician of the Year Awards. On-line services and social media are so important when it comes to promoting businesses or individuals to consumers; not only is it cost effective, but it can have a big impact. Happily, this type of media is usually second nature to the trainees who will become the next generation of professional electricians."
Not only are the sponsors of the electrician of the year awards generously donating prizes to the three winners, they will also be taking a part in the final judging stage to find the best three electricians or electrical contracting company for their use of on-line services and social media.
All electricians and electrical contractors are invited to nominate themselves or someone else for the awards which will be judged in 2 stages.
The first stage will be judged by the in house team at My Local Electrician who will draw up a short-list of nominees to be put forward to be judged in the finals by Megger, Super Rod and Trade Skills 4 U.
There will be 3 awards presented:
Gold winner, Silver winner and a Bronze winner. Currently the prize package for each winner is as follows:Gold Winner: Megger MFT1730 Multifunction Tester, and a Super Rod Mega Set kit.
Silver Winner: Megger MIT320 Insulation & Continuity Tester and a Super Rod Delux Set.
Bronze Winner: Megger DCM330 Fork Multimeter and a Super Rod Telescopic Pole and R2 Test Lead.
In addition, all 3 winners will receive a framed certificate plus a special winners logo which can be used on all your publicity material with the compliments of My Local Electrician.
Do remember to check back regularly on My Local Electrician for updates. The closing date for entries is 21st November 2011. My Local Electrician will announce the short listed nominees on the 5th of December 2011. This short list will then be judged by the sponsors and the three winners will be notified by the 12th of December 2011 – what better way to get you into the festive spirit?
