I am a Defined-Scope Domestic Electrical Installer with BS7671 17th Edition(2382) and PAT(2377) qualifications, Fundamental Inspection and Testing(2392). The latter half of this year I'm doing small amounts of work(unpaid, apart from materials) to get my confidence up, I have my Megger 1720 tester which I'm putting to good use, except it eats batteries like we breathe air. My plan for the next few months, leading upto mid 2013, is to use my meter as a Portable Appliance Tester by way of getting an adaptor for it, hopefully this will lead onto further electrical work. Thanks also to my parents for all of their support, I wouldn't been able to get into this position without them, and they have let me use their premises as a practice ground via doing a few minor works there, to get my confidence up.
So there's a brief synopsis of what I wish to do and am always looking forward to being independent in the near future.
