--Update--
Due to the increasing amounts of low quality and spam content we no longer accept anonymous user generated content. If you have a piece of content that you feel is a good fit for the MLE Electrical Safety Magazine please contact us

Please do not advertise Viagra! I'm sure we've all come across a site that has fallen victim to spammers advertising anything from handbags to Viagra!
It's really distracting to the reader as it hinders them finding the information they were looking in the first place and it's somewhat of a nuisance to the website admin who have to waste their time removing the Spam and ensuring those who contribute quality blog posts are given the exposure their work rightly deserves.
My Local Electrician now receives in excess of ten spam blog posts every week so we thought now would be a good opportunity to add a couple of new guidelines that will help all users of My local Electrician.
Please keep the content relevant – we really appreciate the time you've taken to write the blog post, so it's only right that your post is given as much exposure as possible to our readers – the vast majority of whom are electrical industry professionals. Please only write content that is relevant for the UK electrical industry.
Please don't overload your blog post with links to other websites. It is not an interesting read if you simply fill your posts with excessive numbers of links to other websites. We allow one link to an external web page per blog post and the landing page of the link must be relevant to the blog post itself.
Those are the only two 'guidelines' (we are not huge fans of rules!) the rest is just good old fashioned common sense – Just because we haven't told you not to do something, doesn't mean you should.
