Following a recent discussion on the My Local Electrician Linked In Group about these scheme referrals, we wonder what your thoughts are and their referral/conversion rate?
On the face of it, the whole concept seems like a good idea......after all, a busy electrician doesn't want to use his valuable time finding customers when a website can do all the hard work for you.
Do these referral schemes provide you with quality referrals leaving you more time to actually do your job or are they a waste of money....we'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences.
Apparently there are over 1 million jobs posted on Rated People, you can get quality work all year round, work when and where you like – is this really the case? We'd love to hear your thoughts
My Local Electrician would like to know what sources of marketing electricians find most useful. Maybe it is these said schemes or maybe its still good old word of mouth.
In the discussion, electricians are still reporting word of mouth recommendations as their main source of new business – is this the same for you?
What about Twitter, facebook and other social networking sites.....aren’t these referral sites on these same social networking outlets finding the same potential customers as you could be finding yourself?
Lets put the shoe on the other foot – if you were looking for an electrician, where would you start?
