Today we did not book in a great deal, fancied an easy day after last week, Today we went and sorted out a really nice lady’s bathroom downlights. Not a big deal and not much to talk about really, they were installed a couple of years ago by a bathroom company and to be honest electrically they were in my mind fitted correctly.
Only thing we were there for was one of the downlight’s kept going on and off. What we found was that after the downlight’s were fitted the loft was then boarded and of course the transformers were getting too hot and cutting out. We explained this to the lady and made some holes above each downlight for ventilation, we then changed one of the transformers that had burned out.
The Lady was more than happy and even gave us a £10 tip !!
